There is this florist that I have been in love with. Her ideas and styles are so perfect for me! The only problem I was having with her amazingness is the price that understandable goes along with it. Now, $800 for Bridal Party flowers isn’t too rediculous especially considering some of the flowers I was getting. But it was still out of my $500 (at absolutely most) budget.
Well, I got a random call this morning with a question from her. She wants to know if I would like to have my flowers at half price… uhm… what? This was completely out of nowhere! I never asked her to lower her prices or hinted that they were too high. She knew from a meeting we had last week that I was trying to slim some things down because I really wanted to use her but couldn’t afford some of the flowers I had origionally wanted.
According to her, God had laid it on her heart to help me out. She saw how hard I was trying to stay within budget and she felt that is doing so I was losing a lot of what I had origionally fallen in love with. She wanted me to have the best flowers I can and, she has never done this before but really thinks God is leading her to help me out. So, in the end, I am getting about $800 worth of flowers for just under $400 (before tax)
This is what I am pretty much getting:
My Bouquet– Bold Blooms of Blue and Purple Hydrangea, Lisianthus/Stock and blue/green orchids with White Miniature Calla Lily Accents; Rhinestone and AB Swarovski Crystals within Bouquet; Hand Tied with White Satin Ribbon and Pearl Pins
Bridesmaid or Best Man Bouquets– 5 Large Callas and Peacock Sword Feathers; Variegated Greenery; Wrapped in Teal Ribbon and Purple French Braid/Pearl Pins
Mr. Hedgies Bout– Miniature White Calla and Blue Orchid Boutonniere; Black Satin Wrap
Groomsmen Bouts– Blue Orchid with Grass Loops; black satin wrap
Fathers, Grandfathers and Ushers were going to be the same as Groomsmen but I am going to see about switching out the Orchids for Calla Lilies to set them a part from the Groomsmen and give it a little more classic look.
Grandmothers– Mini White Calla and Blue Orchid Corsage;Greenery/Sheer White Bow
Future Mother-In-Law– Silver Beaded Cuff Wristlet with Blue Orchids, Feather Accent and White Hydrangea
MOB– White Mini Calla Petite Bouquet with Teal Feather Accents and Black Wrap
Flower Girl– Princess Wand with White Roses and Teal/Purple Ribbons; Silver Sparkle (I am going back and forth between this and a pomander… she is 4…)
And of course a toss bouquet.
So when all is said and done. EEEEEEEEEEEEE! I never expected this in a million years! Ok, I am done freaking out for now. lol
