@sarahroby: I used a mix of both real and fake. I may be biased but I think it all turned out beautifully and I got nothing but compliments and I of course saved money. My resort wanted like $450 for a swag to go over the gazebo and I made all gazebo flowers and pomanders for about 200ish which would have cost me about 1000 or more thru the resort

We used artificial flowers for the ceremony decor….the gazebo and pomanders were fake.

I used real flowers for my bouquet and bridal party. Also the reception table flowers were real.

@sarahroby:  I would price it out (real vs fake).  I ended up doing real DIY flowers because it actually cost me less to purchase real ones instead of silk/fake.

@housebee:  I so would have used real and went the route you went b/c yours turned out beautifully but being a DW we had to use fake to travel with…..but your DIY flowers are my favorite on the bee!!

@weddingbound:  Aww thanks 🙂  I think your flowers turned out beautifully too, plus you have a gorgeous backdrop and your aisle running is seriously AMAZING!!!

@weddingbound:  I never thought of using  fake flowers for  the ceremony but it’s such a good idea!  totally doing this now…
