I am sorry for your loss!

This is all relative…it depends on your tastes. I am having a full bouquet, with maybe 15 flowers in it. But my BMs will only have one ivory calla and my Honors will have 3 callas.

I’m sorry to hear about your mom. I lost my dad in November, so I understand how hard wedding planning can be when you’re missing a parent.

As far as flowers, I don’t think there’s any set rule. I think you could just go with what you’re comfortable with. I’ve seen large bouquets of callas and I’ve also seen equally elegant treatments of just one or two flowers. Usually I think the bride’s bouquet is bigger or a little different from the bridesmaids.

A couple of ideas for figuring out what you might want…

1) Go to a craft store and put together a bouquet of fake calla lilies. Play around with the number of flowers in the bouquet until you find an amount that you like.

2) Look online for pictures of bouquets that you like. (Do a google image search of “calla lily boquet”) When you find an example that you like, count the number of blooms.

Good luck! Flowers are beautiful and there isn’t really ever a wrong way of arranging them.
