@YellowBee3: I haven’t looked specifically at prices, but if you’re wanting to do something along the lines of a DIY route, I believe Walter Knoll Florist has something at their wholesale shop in the St Louis City area, where you can rent out a room for like $20 an hour and make your own arrangements there.  If you have a lot of family/a lot of girlfriends that you could recruit & are doing more simplistic designs, this could be a great option.. they also have an option to pay a little more to have a consultant/employee there when you rent out the room to assist with instructions on how to put together arrangements.

I’ve also heard that Dierbergs Florist has pretty good prices.  Costco/Sam’s Club is also supposed to be pretty good price-wise.  Sorry I don’t have any firsthand prices; I haven’t actually gone for any consultations yet, but that’s what I’ve heard through the grapevine!

Meleana’s Flower in Overland (North County). Lee is super nice, totally willing to work with a budget and has really good ideas. He has been awesome throught the whole process. He quoted me half of what the other places I went did for my centerpieces.

Two enthusiastic thumbs up! Definitely give them a call.
