Hi Bees! So my mom wore real flowers in her hair at her wedding and I want to do the same (she was gunning for me to wear a crown but ICK so when I told her about the flowers she totally melted 🙂 ) and I think I want my bridesmaids to also have flowers. My flowers in my bouquet are babies breath, carnations, and roses. So I was thinking of babies breath right above where my veil attaches (low and at the back) and just behind my bridesmaids ears. But how quickly do they die? How can I make them last? I’d like to be able to wear them through the ceremony and at least dinner, but I don’t want them wilted and gross. Anyway any other bees who wore flowers and how did you keep them fresh and lively? How does babies breath last without water? And any fun ways to wear (but not a fairy-hippie ring though!)

That’s good to know! I want them to be fresh as long as possible 😀
Those are so cute! That would be cute to try for any day with fake flowers. Thanks for the tips!!!

@sakurabean: For my first wedding I had a hair band made by a florist. I was married at 11am and was still wearing the flowers later in the evening. No wilting.

My crown is silk flowers, but absolutely stunning. I didn’t want to worry about wilting either! My girls will be wearing dried babies breath crowns.

Baby’s breath is pretty indestructible. Also, don’t feel like you have to use the same flowers in your hair as in your bouquet.

Babys breath will last for a while but if you are wanting other types of flowers I’d think of possibly going the silk route….maybe real touch flowers!
