Try Ranunculus or English Roses.  They both have the soft, feathery feel similar to the peony.

Good luck!

I also love peonies.  But they aren’t in season in September when I will be getting married.  I found that garden roses have a very similar look and come in a variety of colors, including very pretty shades of pink.  I hope this helps.  Check out this website: http://www.wholeblossoms.com/36-wholesale-garden-roses.html

Cotton gave great advice!  I, too, wanted peonies but they were the most costly of all of the flowers I desired.  So, my florist combined peonies and garden roses in my bouquet.  (Sorry they aren’t pink, but you get the idea).  I loved it!!

I’m not a fan of peonies myself, but my florist showed me a pic of a David Austin rose and i guess it can kinda resemble it a little bit? Also, I fell in love with football mums. Never would have considered mums but these are fuller and look great in a bouquet. Just something else to look in to!

I’m doing Garden Roses, the only place I’m springing for Peonies is my bouquet.

Agree on cabbage/garden roses.  I work for a florist, and I am using these in white.  I LOVE peonies too!  Here is a picture of the actual flower I ordered in to play with.  These are called David Austin roses.

I came acrossed the same problem when I met with my florist a couple weeks ago.  I love peonies but they are out of season at the end of July for our wedding.  So I am doing garden/cabbage roses and ranunculus.
