Hi bees! I need help. What flowers would look nice with sunflowers for a centerpiece that aren’t too expensive? I have a somewhat tight budget and i’m not a huge flower person anyway, so I have no idea where to look. The vases will be mason jars.
I dont love roses.. I love daisies but I heard you have to get them from a florist or they will fall apart because they have to be wired? A florist isn’t an option.. Im probably going to buy in bulk from Costco or Sams Club.
Thanks all for any help!

I think mums would look good with sunflowers

Since you are on a budget have you considered buying from a local grower? I spending @$300 and filling all my vases of which these are roughly half:
I will also be getting my bouquet from her.
These are a sample of the quality of flowers. (I apologize for the fact I personally cannot arrange flowers.}

This one has wildflowers in ruset red, gold and teraa cotta along with grasses.
You could substitute bronze mums for the wildflowers and still use the grasses with ivy or Dusty Miller.
I have never had ordinary daisies wired for a centerpiece. Perhaps you are thinking of gerbera daisies? An easy way to keep the stems upright is to slip them inside a drinking straw. This one has gerberas and mums.
carnations and goldenrod
wheat, dried grass and dried statice
combined with lavender larkspur, mini sunflowers, lavender mardi gras asters as filler, purple veronica, and green hypericum berries.
daisies, crespidia and ?

Lots of flowers go with sunflowers! We used sunflowers as our main flower and got everything from fiftyflowers.com. I will post pics when I get home from work, but I wanted to tag this so I remember!

Billy Buttons come to mind right away, they make super cute boutonnieres too!

Mums come to mind. Or hyacinth, or just babys breath and some greenery. And baby daisys would not need to be wired I don’t think.

Not sure how casual you’re looking for it to be, but when I have done sunflowers in my house I’ve used marigolds and fall leaves.
