I’d talk to your florist about it – they’ll probably be able to give you some fantastic advice.

Hi, This is a photo of a few of the lovely dahlias that my daughter chose for her wedding last August.  They are in season around that time, and if you’re lucky and can get out to a country farm or a farmer’s market you can get a great price, and pick the multitude of colors these come in.  Gladiolas are also in season, and they are one of my favorites.  I had a cascading bouquet of white gladiolas, pink sweetheart roses and engish ivy, if you don’t care for as much color.  🙂

Oooh I have the perfect flower for you.  I saw it in person and it was the most beautiful rich plum color!  It was a blue anemone.  In the flower world, when they say it’s blue, it’s actually purple!  Here’s the closest picture I can find online.

since it’s close to the fall, greens and oranges go well with eggplant.  Check out this purple orchid bouquet!  i think it will look gorgeous with the eggplant color…or the green cymbidium orchid bouquet.  As you see, I’m an orchid nut! I think it’s the most beautiful flower in the world!  Just breathtaking!  🙂
