(Closed) Flying with breastmilk WITHOUT baby

Just saw this thread pop up and had to comment. My sister tried to fly with breastmilk and no baby and they made her put it in her checked baggage. She asked while checking in for her flight. She is also active duty military. So if anyone is banking on doing this, don’t be surprised if they don’t let you.

I asked my breast feeding pal about this as I was interested. She said ‘pump and dump’. Personally if babe isn’t on the boob, or if she doesnt need to stock the freezer at home, she just expresses to stay comfy and keep the flow but throws it away and just picks up as normal when she’s home and baby is back on feeding.
