@JaneDomani: FB seems to have invented a whole new way to hurt people.

Man, what a true statement that is.  I’m sorry you’re having such a bad experience.  🙁  She might have realized you blocked everything from her and just figured there was no point to being friends.  But, if she’s being such a brat, maybe it’s a good thing she defriended you.  You don’t need negativity in your life!

Now, I’ll go read your Thanksgiving post so I get caught up!

@JaneDomani: It does really suck. But if someone was blocking me on Facebook or on any social media, I would probably unfriend them too. It seems like there was no reason for her to remain friends with you if she cannot spy on you. You all may not be talking (for whatever reason), but staying connected through the internet was probably her only way of having information or control. If you take that away, then ‘unfriend’.

I hope things pan out before the big day.

The only relatives I have on Facebook are my brothers, sisters-in-law, and some cousins (all around my age).  I don’t know how I’d handle parents and in-laws being on there!  What an odd situation!

@JaneDomani: OMG we have the same story! I didn’t read your post YET about thanksgiving, but that’s where my relationship with my Mother-In-Law exploded! Holy cow! I defriended her on fb too after she attacked me. Crazy!

@exoticmariee: FB question how does one know they are “blocked”  there are people who I have as friends that play way tooo many games – literally- farmvile, zooville, alienville and I just dont want it on my wall- so I blocked them but kept them as friends- do they see the block?

No they wont see the block, but you can hide that specific news feed instead of blocking the person in general.

@retreadbride: i just block each game that pops up on my page.  That way I’ll never know they’re annoying and they’ll never know I think they’re annoying.  I have a whole list of blocked applications and games.  Just click the x on the far upper right hand corner of the post and you can choose to block the game.
