Eh its fine, I colored my hair through out my pregnancy. Long as you are in a vented room there is no harm to the baby or to you

I have every two months or so throughout my pregnancy.  My stylist said she highlighted hair through both of her pregnancies until the day before she delivered with no problems. My doctor said it probably isn’t a problem. It should be fine.

My doctor said its fine, especially if you’re doing foil highlights, because its not touching the scalp. To be on safe side, though, I waited until 12 weeks (just got my hair highlighted yesterday!) I get blonde highlights and will continue to do so throughout the pregnancy.

I’ve done all-over color during my pregnancy but I waited until I was well into my second trimester. With highlights, I think you’re probably fine having them done during the first trimester because the chemicals aren’t coming in contact with your scalp, therefore they’re not being absorbed into your body. With proper ventilation, I think you’re good.
