Do you have a link to the font? I might be able to help if I can see what file type it is 🙂

Easy Peasy! Open your “Font Book” application. After it’s open, go to your downloads folder. Find the font file (Usually labeled .ttf, I think?) and drag the font file to the font book icon in your dock.

Then it should pull up a little box that has a button to install. Click it, and it will be installed in your Font Book, and will show up on all your programs.

Let me know after you’ve tried it to make sure it worked for you!

@tinylittlebird: That works. 🙂  I think you can also double-click the font and a window will pop up with a preview and an install option. Might open up Font Book too

@techie: That might be…. I’ve always just done the drag/drop method b/c I drag/drop most things… Habitual, I guess!

I also love using Font Book… I love their custom text preview option, so I can type in what I’m wanting to say and then quickly preview how it will look in different fonts.

@tinylittlebird: Me too! I love being able to group fonts too. I’ve already made one for the invites!

@bbutterfly: Hmmm… I’ve had that happen on a couple fonts. I’m not sure if it’s the font itself or what. Frustrating, but sometimes it happens. They’re free fonts, after all!

some of the fonts I downloaded are getting tops and bottoms cut off too….did you ever figure out how to fix it?
