Hi everyone, I’m new! I’ve been pouring over all the ‘bee posts over the past couple weeks and definitely found lots of inspiration for our wedding next June.
I’ve looked over the http://wiki.weddingbee.com/Font but I was curious what is most popular these days. Are there any new font sites that aren’t included there? What have you used recently?
Also, where can we get all those lovely graphics for our stationary that I see in everyone’s DIYs? Like the floral borders and such?
I’ve been eyeing http://www.weddingdna.com/ but wasn’t sure if it was worth it if there are free services available. Has anyone used WeddingDNA or a site like that? Maybe there are other options?
And if you were wondering… yes, I am a groom that blogs. You can check it out at http://www.bravenewgroom.com/ if you are interested!!
Thanks in advance for all the wonderful help!

Hi bravenewgroom! Welcome to the hive! 🙂 I think you can get a lot of neat graphics from istockphoto.com. I am not sure how payment works there but there are a TON of photos and graphics you could use for stationery. Some good free font sites are dafont.com, 1001freefonts.com, and urbanfonts.com and a site for handwriting called fonts for peas (http://kevinandamanda.com/fonts/fontsforpeas/).
As a side note, you should apply to be a bee! I would love to read a groom’s perspective. Off to check out your blog now! 🙂

Istock is really easy – you pay them a base $ amount for X amount of points. Each image costs a certain number of points, etc. You also might consider a stationer on Etsy.com! There are people that will sell the customized graphics of an invitation so that you only need to print them out… and very cute stuff I might add!
