I always eat my grilled cheese with ketchup.  My whole family does it and everyone I knew growing up did it too, so I thought it was normal.  Then I went to school with mostly Americans and my classmates asked me what I was doing when I put ketchup on my plate with my grilled cheese!  At the time I assumed it was a Canadian thing since ketchup is pretty much its own food group here.

Agreed with PP about Ranch dressing and pretty much anything.  I also like Wheat Thins dipped in Ranch.

I like to slice up a banana into a bowl of orange juice and eat it with a spoon, as if it were cereal.  It’s very refreshing!

Another odd combo: Ginger wafers topped with mascarpone.

Hot dogs with mozzarella cheese melted on top. I had it in Paris when I was younger, and haven’t been able to eat a hot dog since unless I have cheese. everyone thinks I’m crazy and refuses to try it, but I love it.

@snoie:  Ketchup on eggs is super common here, and grilled cheese actually! 🙂

Peanut butter and dorito sandwich! Yes, I know, but everyone I can actually get to try it loves it! No jelly, that would be gross 😉

Eggo waffles with butter, peanut butter, sliced bananas, and syrup!  So so yummy!

Another vote for french fries dipped in a milkshake!

Cream cheese, peanut butter, and jelly sandwiches.

Raisin english muffins with butter, cream cheese, and apricot jelly.

My wife likes spicy Cheetos dipped in cottage cheese!
