Find a caterer who is experienced in doing outdoor events; they should have no trouble managing the logistics, and it will take a lot off your plate.

Or, do what my DH and I are doing for our elopement reception and just have food trucks show up 😀

I initially wanted an outdoor tented reception so I have looked into many options… I dont know exactly where you are in the midwest but Old Carolina BBQ was by far the best option. They are only in Ohio and Michigan though :/ They were by far the cheapest and included the most.
