Hello Ladies, I need some help. I have a mental block for foods right now. My wedding is in November in Florida and will be outdoors and I can’t decide what to serve for the reception! I just need some suggestions to get me started. Any info would be helpful.

What about seafood since it’s in Florida? Shrimp, grilled swordfish, salmon? You could do more tropical toppings like mango salsas — you could also serve lots of fruit chunks, vegetables… just think of food categories, maybe: meat, vegetables, fruit, dessert. Then go from there. Do you have any ideas for caterers yet, or are you doing it yourself?

You should include oranges for sure!

Okay, I’m leaning toward two meats, maybe a roast and some kind of fish then veggies and fruits.
Anyone suggest a good fish? I personally love Grouper, but it can get very pricey….

Be careful of overdoing the meat if you are inviting a number of vegetarians…if they’re all carnivores, then you’re covered.
