@HappilyEverAfter54: was it wrapped up? The rule is 2 hours for cooked food. Was it cold? I don’t know what the experts would say though. If it was me I would eat it lol..No dairy in it and if it was wrapped it’s not likely it was exposed to bacteria.

Yeah it should still be good. I would still eat it. Besides, its going to be baked, any bacteria will most likely be killed off. Although, I am not an epert, so if you do get sick, leave me outta it! haha

I would think it would be okay…it might not even have completely thawed out in that time?  I would eat it 🙂

I would eat it!  I say pop it in the oven and enjoy!

By The Way, my 2nd freezer has gone out on more than one occasion.  IMO if the food is still cold/chilled I refreeze it. (And of course cook it an eat it at a later date.)  I’m still alive to tell you this story and I have been doing this for years!  Also, my husband and children constantly make fun of me for paying no attention to expiration dates on food packages.  My nose tells me if something is good, not some date stamped on a package!

No clue if it’s still good… But I can tell you that I’d totally eat if it was me. Hahaha, I’ve eaten way more questionable things that have been left out or are old so maybe I’m not the best judge. How is it?

I’m sure it’s fine! You cooked it in the oven and therefore the heat cooked off any bacteria (or at least thats how Id justify it to myself)

You can actually become ill from a whole host of different bacteria and pathogens from food. the rule is not actually 2 hours and you can re-freeze it. If a food product which is frozen it can NOT be re-frozen unless it is cooked first. For example, if you thaw a frozen pizza the only acceptable thing to do is to cook it fully and then re-freeze it.

If you let’s just say take a turkey out of your freezer and realise in an hour that you don’t need it you CAN re-freeze it if it still contains ice crystals. Lol you can take or leave my advice if you like but I am a Journeyman Chef and I don’t like it when people take chances with food.
