OK, so I took some frozen chicken tenderloins out of the freezer on Tuesday evening. I put them in the fridge to defrost for dinner on Wednesday (last) night, but then I had a long day at work and didn’t feel like cooking them. Today is Thursday, and they are still in the fridge. Would they be safe to cook for dinner tonight?

I certainly would. Its possible that the FDA may say no, (1-2 days per FDA raw chicken in fridge) but realistically its good for longer.
As long as it smells OK and not slimy, go ahead. I would and do all the time.

I would still be okay with cooking them.

Thanks so much, ladies! 🙂

Plus, you are cooking them, so any bacteria should be killed.

Definitely! Unless they were bordering on bad when you froze them.
