(Closed) food that can survive a long car ride?

Something that doesn’t need much refridgeration probably, like sandwiches?  Is there any way you could buy supplies to make food there, it might be easier since you will be risking not keeping food cool enough during the trip?

It depends on what is available where you will be staying.

When we used to go camping, I always took something like stew and lasagna frozen.

It helped keep other foods cold, and was an easy meal after it thawed out.

You could also take a bag of frozen stock. Again it acts as ice to keep things cold. Thaw, add veggies, pasta or rice and bake some biscuits= simple supper.
