Have you asked your vendors how long it will take to serve that many people? People will wait in line  downtown at a food truck, but they don’t have the same expectation at a wedding.

We did this! We had lots and lots of appetizers at cocktail hour when we were at photos and we also had lawn games with really good prizes (first prize was $100 gift card towards a really popular craft beer tour) so people were engaged in that and not nessecarily rushing the food truck when dinner started past cocktail hour. We also had TONS of open seating and different options and an “eat when you want, where you want” mentality. I never saw more than two people in line (although I think there may be a photo of maybe 4 in line when we were still at photos).

Sooooo many people told us (and still are telling us, a month later) that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I had TONS of help and advice from the bee. We put our guests first wherever we could, I think that’s what helped make it a hit.
