Personally the concept is too trendy for me. Food trucks are all the rage now. But poofy sleeves and big hair were all the rage in 1985, and we all cringe when we see folks’ wedding photos from those days.

deffinately doing this as a late night snack option, who cares about the pics, you always get a great entertaiment factor from looking at old pics that have trends. your guests will love it and be excited, just dont make them pay for it!

I had a gap between my ceremony and reception so I had a food truck cater some food after the ceremony in my church parking lot. Everyone loved the idea and we were all starving after the ceremony anyways so it was greatly appreciated. The pics looked great too!

We’re looking into doing this with a pizza food truck for a late night snack! I think its a great idea as I’ve never seen anyone do this before at any wedding I’ve been to!

@misschickpea:  I just wanted to give you a heads up about pizza trucks from my experience. if its one that makes individual pizzas in a wood burning oven, ask them what their service time iis. i once waited 20 min for a small individual pizza and wasnt that impressed. hopefully this isnt the case for you, but makesure you get a chance to see them under pressure

I haven’t, but I think it is fun and considerate.

@fishbone:  Very few wedding things are actually timeless, so I personally don’t mind having some current trends on display.  Definitely an individual decision though!  And the best thing about this trend is that if 20 years from now it has become cringe worthy, it’ll only be in a few photos, not in every single one like a big sleeve dress 🙂

I went to a wedding that had a food truck at the end of the night and everyone went ape shit over it.

@fishbone:  It’s definitely trendy but I don’t think it’s the kind of thing where people will look back and cringe when they see a food truck in a photo. Mason jars, maybe…. 🙂

I’m having a pizza truck for dinner! They said each pizza takes 3 minutes to cook and they’re setting up a buffet table of pizzas so no one should have to wait!
