Hey ladies! I am really struggling with favor ideas for our guests. I keep changing my mind… hand painted wine glasses… personalized corkscrews (we’re having a really large wine bar so I was hoping to keep with the theme)… handmade wine charms… small succulent plants….ah! The possibilities are endless. Then I keep thinking, who wants only 1 glass? How useful would a corkscrew be for most wine drinkers? How will anyone transport a plant?
My fiance and I are big foodies and I love to cook, so I thought of edible favors that our guests may enjoy. We are doing a dessert table/candy bar, but we also want a favor table. So far, I have three ideas and would really, really, appreciate you taking a poll and providing any comments!
One big catch is a lot of our guests will be flying in, so the jars will be limited to 3.4oz.
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!

Sorry, it’s too hard to choose, all three sound great, really. π I don’t know what to vote for!

Olive oil for sure – its practical and a great gift! Some people don’t touch honey other than for tea.
I think I’m gonna go with olive oil for my own.

Ok, I’m voting for the honey just because I love your tag idea. π

I think I would be most likely to use the olive oil, but they ALL sound SO good!

i voted for honey. we received a jar of honey as a wedding favor once and it was really cute. we also use a lot of honey for cooking and such.
i also like the jam idea. at my bridal shower the favors were jars of homemade peach jam.

I love them all! If it were me I would have such a hard time choosing. I love the honey (huge honey addict here) but because I don’t know if the honey is pasturized or not I might not use it. The jam is great, but I’m not a huge jame person. I voted olive oil, everyone can use olive oil!!
Honestly, I would be thrilled to get any of these (I don’t want a plant or one wine glass, cork screw, maybe)

They all sound great. I voted for the jam though! I’ve gotten honey before as a favor and it was really useful.

I vote honey because it is “local”, especially if you have guests coming in from other places.

Olive oil, because I am Italian and biased! haha
But also if you have leftovers (i.e. if people don’t take their favors) then you’re not lamenting over how much honey you have for the next three years – olive oil gets used too quickly for that!
But if all else fails, pick candy (especially chocolate!). We gave chocolates for our engagment party favors and I found out some of my friends/my sister loved them so much they stole their SO’s baggies and were eating candy for breakfast the next day, haha.

I luuuuurve me some olive oil. The flavored/infused stuff can really do wonders to plain ol’ bread!

@ddattilio: Ohh they all sound perfect!! I lovee honey, and even though I don’t use jam much, the flavors you mentioned sound AMAZING! And I loveee the cute label ideas.
I voted for Olive Oil because it’s probably the most likely to be used by EVERYONE. Not everyone likes honey, or if they do, they only use it occasionally.. and not everyone uses jam.. but EVERY household will cook do something requiring olive oil. π
But, all three sound amazing, and you can’t go wrong! Wonderful ideas. π

I love all the ideas. I voted for honey because I love raw honey, and use it alot. But the homemade jam sounds delicious as well.
