This isn’t really a crazy one, but my mom is friends with a L&D nurse and she said that pineapple is suppose to do the trick. She wants to have a pineapple party on my due date (which is also her birthday!)

 I have eaten pineapple twice since I got pregnant and someone told me not to because it would induce labor, that really confused me..

If these foods actually induced labor then why would it be necessary to use drugs like pitocin to induce labor?

I used primrose oil on my cervix and some good ol’ sex with DS. I think it worked… I ended up in labor the next day… BUT since I didn’t know anything about it, as soon as I started having “consitent” contractions I tried to make them moreso by walking myself exhausted. lol….

Also, an orgasm will help b/c of the oxytocin release…. I think that’s probably the best I’ve found. tehe

I lived in LA when I was having my babies and there is this restaurant called Caioti that serves something called THE Salad I have a lot of friends who swear it works-they deliver. Literally. lol (here’s the link: http://www.maternitysalad.com)

@skibobrown:

hahahha. I think the whole Chinese population can debunk that myth!

I’ve heard SPICY food. I read about the pineapple one as well, weird.

@runsyellowlites: “I used primrose oil on my cervix and some good ol’ sex with DS.”

I’m sorry, but I just have to ask: This is a typo, right? You didn’t have sex with your son to induce labor, right?
