londonbeeee : Definitely more weights! I am also super intimidated by the weight machines and free weights, so I just stick to classes at the gym. They incorporate weights but they instruct you on what to do. Working out with a trainer is awesome, but SO expensive to do consistently.

I’m not sure why people are saying you are doing too much cardio. If you want to lose body fat, you need to be in a caloric deficit, cardio helps with that.
You want to lift heavy weights to shape the muscle so that when you shed the body fat there is nice muscle definition underneath.
In summary, you need a combination of both weights and cardio as well as making sure you’re burning more calories than your consuming. It’s simple science. Also NEVER eat back calories you’ve burned off. Rule number one of losing body fat.
Hope that helps.

Another vote for BBG/kayla program. You can get the PFD online if you don’t want to pay. For the most part they are body weight supported so you can get some cardio along with strengthening.
Signing up for a regular class is usually a good way to see results, I find we often don’t push ourselves as much as we need to when we’re alone.
