- Wedding: April 2011
Ok, first the details: Our wedding is going to be all white. We are having about 100 people, which will be 18 tables. The florist said to divide the tables into thirds so you don’t have the same centerpiece on every table. We are doing 6 tall baby’s breath centerpieces. I was thinking high, medium, and low.
My idea for the medium size, which I will be DIY-ing because no one in this town seems to get it, is either white football mums with white sweetpea or white dahlias with sweetpea. And in old fashioned glass tea pitchers or vases in almost the same shape. I tried to put the inspiration picture in, but it wouldn’t so I’ll attach it at the end. Anyway in the picture they used dahlias and some small lilies. I like the mums, but I’m more familiar with dahlias (I grow and arrange some every year).
The other issue I have is what to do for the low centerpieces? I was thinking a bowl filled with orchid heads and two stems hanging over the side and then some heads on the table. But is that too much? I feel like our tall ones are so simple and the medium ones will be the one big on fluffy flowers so what should I do with the low ones?
