If you had to choose, which ring would you pick?
(Some of these photos may be other bee’s rings – happy to take this down if it’s yours and you don’t like it – but, consider it a compliment!) :))
#1 – Round brilliant solitaire in pave setting
#2 – Rount brilliant in shared setting diamond band
#3 – Oval diamond solitaire
#4 – Round brilliant with split shank diamond band

Lol dang, I’m always the outcast on these. My pick would be #2

I’m on an oval high right now, so I’d pick the oval, but in a shared diamond setting. 🙂 I admit it was hard to choose though! Rounds are pretty spectacular!

I don’t like small diamonds around the bands so #3 was an easy pick!

It’s between 1 and 3 but all are lovely 🙂

I love unique looks: the oval is lovely but also not something you see everywhere 🙂

I do not like pave because of the issue with losing stones. I love plain white gold settings, so I would choose a solitarire, and whatever you are saving by having a plain setting, I would get the best diamond you can get (best=quality; not size, imo).

I want the oval in that sexy split shank band!

My ring is fairly similar to #1, so assuming that this is an additional ring, I picked #3. I like them all though, to be honest.

I have an infatuation with oval solitaires and it’s been my first choice for a potential engagement ring for a long, long time. However, I often find myself thinking, is it too boring? Would people see it and think it was boring with the million choices out there? I have saved millions of pictures of oval solitaires because I just think they are so classy and would suit me and what I wear everyday, and it wouldn’t feel gaudy on my finger. I would pair it with a shared setting wedding band and perhaps a rose gold stacker down the line and think that would be so very me. I agree with you JenGirl that I don’t like diamonds around the band as I feel I’d end up with too much bling on my finger that’s not very ‘me’. But when I have my moments of ‘boring!’ I wonder whether I should have a bit more bling!
My mother would approve of one of the RB’s with a diamond band, but I still love the timelessness/elegance of an oval. If only we can have like, 5 rings ladies :p
I found this split shank beauty in the window of a jeweller’s 6 months ago! I have been stalking it since then and had a heart attack when it was reduced to $9,950 the other day when I had another look walking past. That is still very expensive to me, but I thought it’s such a different/cool ring!
Thanks for all your votes and comments! These are my ring crushes that I’ve narrowed it down to. Just wanted to see what other people would choose 🙂

None of these are really my style (I’m a halo girl), but I would choose #1 out of these.

That ring is actually near you? BUY IT. All I can think is “I know I’m already married, but that ring is 50% off and who doesn’t want a 20k ring?”

Of these 4…
I VOTED for # 4
Because it is the more unique one of the bunch IMO (and I am all about the different)
I also liked # 1, but it is pretty much a standard seen ring now… and it’s pave. I don’t do pave. I want my diamonds more secure.
Hope this helps,

I hope no one finds this rude but I wouldn’t choose any of these… I prefer either MUCH smaller, less-flashy stones, OR a coloured gemstone. But if #3 (oval) had a ruby or sapphire intead, that would be perfect 🙂
