themeanreds: Yes, it’s incredibly weird when you don’t have a bump and someone is just standing there grabbing your tummy flesh… And even if there is a bump, it’s not like they are touching the baby anyway – all they do is making you feel uncomfortable.
LoggerHead91207: Good news, you don’t have to waddle just because you’re pregnant! I don’t waddle a bit, and I’m 27 weeks now. It might come in the next few weeks, but at least it’s not like you start off like a penguin from scratch. 🙂 Now when it comes to people touching you, just be prepared that anyone could do it! I have this incredibly considerate, fun, well meaning friend that I just never ever thought would grab my belly but yet she did.

I was really afraid of this, but I guess one good thing about living in a city that’s known to be cold and impersonal (NYC) is that no strangers have tried. I’ve only dealt with it from 2 of DH’s relatives, and one of them I did jokingly rub his belly right back.
I need the seat button though. It is crazy to me how people will rush ahead of me onto the subway, take the empty seat, and then close their eyes and pretend to sleep as I stand there with my belly in their face. Men are the worst offenders.

I like SO giving me tummy rubs that’s it. I clipped my dad round the ear for doing it after many warnings…
Mother-In-Law and NIL ( Nan in law ) often do it…. I hate it but I respect the fact they’re just excited. SO hate’s it too, he cringes and has to hold his toungue whey they reach out for a grope…
