So.. Fiance and I are HUGE sports fans, like… those crazy people you are embarrassed to sit next to because they are screaming and jumping around so much! Well, this past weekend we went to the LSU/Arkansas game and had an absolute BLAST.
What is your favorite sport to watch/play together?
Ours is definitely football… all the way! I am a huge LSU and Saints fan, and my Fiance is a huge Tennessee Titans and Tennessee Vols fan.
Any rivalries in the household?

Our favorite is football too! Growing up, I only watched the NFL and am a HUGE Patriots fan. Luckily so is my bf. 🙂 He’s gotten me into college football, and we’re Alabama fans, which is where he is from and his siblings went to school. (He went to Vandy, but they suck. haha) We’re hoping for a LSU/Bama rematch for the national championship!!
For baseball, I’m a Red Sox fan, and he’s a Yankees fan because he lived in NYC for 5 years after college. Luckily, neither of us watch baseball until the post-season, so there’s only 1 month of being rivals.

We are huge football and baseball fans (Eagles and Phillies) and we jump around and cheer and yell, too! I’m actually addicted to Fantasy Football. LOL This is our 2nd year doing it and I love it! 🙂 (P.S. I’m rooting for your Sproles tonight..he is on my fantasy team! hehe)

Love going to college football and pro baseball games. I’d rather watch NFL games on TV. Darling Husband took me to a Rutgers game while we were dating and got mad when I told him how “cute” their stadium was. I went to Florida and was used to not being able to make phonecalls/hear people more than 2 seats over. No rivalries in our house, I only care about my Gators so I’ve adopted his Chicago teams.

@Jenn23: Yeah Phillies! We just got our 6-game pack this past weekend! So excited for the season to start!!
We’re huge baseball fans. My Darling Husband loves football too, but I’d rather go to a baseball game any day over a football game. Go Phillies (and Red Sox too for my hubby).

I am usually a HUGE Husker Football Fan, but this year, with all the football strike talk going on….all….year….long – I am utterly footballed out. I did watch Farmagedon, I wouldn’t of missed that game for the world.
And I never miss the College World Series, there is just something so pure about college baseball at its finest.

I’m a big hockey and football fan. Fiance, not so much. But he’s a good sport about it when I watch.
GO B’s AND PATS!

Mr.ND and I are rivals to the core…our kids will have to pick their favorite parent during football season. Hahah. We went to rival state schools, and we also have the Packers vs. Vikings debate in our house (no one is going to budge). LOL. You best believe I’m going to get some adorable baby clothes for the Pack and my college team and get those photos first!

BOOMER SOONER!!! I plan everything around my games, including my hair appt next sat lol! Thats why I would NEVER get married on a Sat.during fball season. I dont even work on those days any more because I have missed too many games on t.v.

@Jenn23 and @2PeasinaPod: PHILLIESSSS!!! 😀
We both love the Phillies and Flyers. Can’t wait for the Winter Classic game. I so wish I could be there.

@2PeasinaPod: I bought the 6 game pack for Fiance in 2009 for Christmas. I hid them in a box of Tastykakes (inside joke – he kept saying that he wanted a case of TK every time the Flyers scored). So, he was shocked just to see TastyKakes. I had to tell him to open the box. It was awesome.

No rivalries really – We’re both major UF Gators fans (I went to undergrad there) and have recently adopted NFL teams (Broncos – yay Tebow! and Patriots following Brandon Spikes and Aaron Hernandez’s team :)). Thankfully we’re on board with the same teams or it would get naaaasty in our house – haha.

@cherryblossomlove: Here, too, you cannot plan a wedding during a football game. Even the pastors will warn you against it. Either people will not show up at all, or they will spend the whole reception tracking down a tv or sitting in front of it. Our nepher got married during a Husker game – mistake. Everyone was huddled around a 1970’s grainy tv in the coat room the whole night, including the groom.
PS – I miss the Husker/Sooner rivalry, that used to be my favorite game of the year. Always the day after Thanksgiving when I was a kid.

@Boston Bee: I actually am undecided if I want a rematch between LSU/Bama again.. although I think Bama is definitely the only other team out there that can even come close to beating LSU this year… it just sucks that we have to play in the SEC Championship game and risk injury when Bama gets a by week… oh well! Life isn’t fair as they say lol… but it will be a GREAT game when they do play and I am looking forward to it 🙂
@Jenn23: Sproles in on my FI’s fantasy team, too… I hope he gets you lots of points! 🙂
@LGenz: haha at the “cute stadium” comment… I always note which stadiums I like ( uhmm hello Dallas even though I cannot stand the Cowgirls Cowboys)
@2PeasinaPod: FI is a huge Red Sox fan, too… I am slowly being converted. I find baseball way less thrilling than football, but I read all of the players bios and watch all of the ESPN fluff beforehand so when they’re up to bat I am like ” aww… he is a dog lover and donates 1,000,000 bones a year to charity” to keep it interesting for me lol
@tksjewelry: well being in Omaha you have the perfect reason to love the College World Series! I take the baseball comments back, when LSU is in the World Series I tune in 🙂
@MapleMoose: that’s hilarious you are the sports lover in the relationship. Pats killed it last night!

Huge Hockeys fans over here and soccer – go Portugal! hehe
