I did an updo b/c it was soooooo humid i didn’t risk it. We had a huge storm come in the morning of the wedding and it was unbelievably thick and sticky.

I think hair down looks great even with the wind if it’s done right! Just stay away from the sticky lipsticks =]. Lots of brides go for down-do’s for beach weddings though!

I think a down-do would be great! Maybe you can pin it back a a little to hold it away from your face in the wind. Good tip to avoid the sticky lipstick too! I see your wedding date, but will it be humid in your location? Maybe you can figure that out ahead of time.

i’d go w/ an updo for the same reasons ejs mentioned: humidity, sticky lipsticks / glosses and wind. could you play around with different updos and see if there’s one you like, perhaps one that’s simpler, or keeps some tendrils framing your face?

What about half up? You just want to keep your hair out of your face, right?

There are so many anti-humectant products out there that I don’t think humidity should be an issue. So if you’re really not interested in an updo, you have options.

I think that a down-do would be fine.  Especialy if that’s how YOU prefer it!
