It's fine. It gives different options/ideas for guests who want to offer a gift. : (32 votes)

I do not think three is too many. Some guests prefer to shop in certain stores, and it will give everyone plenty of options.

I think three is fine. Guests like variety when purchasing gifts.

We had four different registries (and a pretty big guest list) and we didn’t get any complaints or strange reactions. People seemed happy to be able to choose. For some reason, some of our guests just adore Crate & Barrel, whereas others would only shop at Macy’s or something. Multiple stores can also help out people with different budgets.

I think it will depend on the stores.  I don’t see the point in registering at, say, BBB, Macy’s, and Kohls since they are all very similar.  But if your 3rd store was something like REI, Home Depot, or something a bit different, then I think 3 is just fine!  We’re going to register at BBB for home stuff, REI for camping, and Sears for tools.

I haven’t done a registery yet, but being that our familes are from different areas that don’t have the same stores I’d like to register at, I will probably end up with 3 as well. I don’t think there is anything wrong with it.  I wouldn’t want people driving out of their way to if they wanted to get me something off my registery, so I think having more options for people is the best way.

I did three, but only kind of… Crate & Barrel is for me, Menard’s is for him, and myregistry.com is for everything in between.  🙂

We did two just in case one of the stores was more convienent than the other for guests. Honestly I couldn’t have done more…I was exhausted!

I did three, Target, Kohls and Amazon. Amazon mainly cause they have that universal regestrity thing which is awesome. I wanted to give lots of varity cause we have such a large range of guests coming to the wedding. From graduate stuedents to my 98 year old great aunts.
