Where did you get your husband’s wedding band? Can you show a real-life photo of your hub’s ring?
Fiance and I have been looking, but a lot of our local stores only sell these “alternative” metal bands online and don’t have samples in store to try on. Fiance is looking for a darker metal (but not black) than white gold or platinum. Its so hard to tell from the online photos exactly what the color of the metal is.

My Fiance didn’t want all inox at first (though now he is considering getting a plain Tungsten, not with black on it). We both liked this ring at first sight, it was at the same jeweler we bought my e-ring.

I haven’t seen a lot of color choices either, though. It was either silver/inox or black, or a mix of those colors together.

This is the one we got.It was only 13 bucks on ebay. He loves it, it’s comfortable, and I don’t have to worry about him losing it.

@LindyLu: You’re in luck. I have a titanium band and SO has a tungsten band.
Here they are on my hand. In order, from top to bottom are tungsten, titatium, and a rhodium-plated SS ring (same color as white gold). His band has a mirror finish & the dark thing you are seeing on it is my reflection; I was wearing a navy blue sweater.

@LindyLu: I would seriously order it online after you’ve sized him in a store (and hopefully gotten to try different ones on in a store to decide on mm width and color/style). Fiance tried on a bunch when we bought my wedding band (just at a chain jeweler in a mall) but they were trying to charge over $200 for them! You can order them off Etsy, Overstock, or Amazon for like $20-30.

My husband has a tungsten band and he loves it! It never gets scratched which is great for him cause he works with his hands. I think it cost about $200

We got my husband’s on blue nile.
We originally got one on amazon but it wasn’t white enough looking. He wanted a white gold look. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find that on amazon so ended up having spend a little more at blue nile. We are thrilled with his ring!!

@LindyLu: My hubs has a titanium. In the picture it looks a lot lighter than it is.

@JenGirl: My Fiance just ordered his off of Amazon as well. What a HUGE savings! My niece’s husband told us about it (he has lost his ring 3 times, lol) and we both really like his. Same quality, but at about 80% off the retail jewelry store price.

Thanks so much bees! The pictures really give a better idea of what the color range is in real-life. I think we will go try on some platinum/white gold bands to get an idea of width and style, and then order his actual ring online in titanium.
