- Wedding: July 2014
Fiance and I are getting married next summer in a beautiful garden, and we are also doing a first look. Orignally I wanted the first look photos to be at a different location, but when I thought about all the money we are spending for the location (having the ceremony and reception there) it wouldn’t make sense not to take advantage of the beautiful spot!
My question is, how do you avoid the guests from seeing us? Our ceremony will be at 12:30pm, so I figured we should stop taking the pictures by 11:45, but what is guests arrive even earlier? What time do guests usually arrive at? I’ve only been to one wedding and we arrived about an hour early (it was FI’s sisters wedding, so I went with his family and we needed to et there early because his dad needed to be there), but even still, there were quite a few who were there before us.
Would it be okay to tell guests to arrive no earlier than 12pm through a website/word-of-mouth, or invites? There will also be security present, would it be awful if we got him to wait in the parking lot and tell guests they can’t go sit down yet because we are taking photos??
Please give me advise !! (:
