- Wedding: February 2020
So I’ll be the first to admit I think I am going to be eating my words. I always use to roll my eyes at brides with a huge bridal party, thinking it looked ridiculous. Well, here I am after weeks and weeks of going over my bridal party, and I think I’m going to be at 10. Yes. TEN! (I have a lot of close family members and a tight-knit group of friends.) I considered cutting people, but truthfully, all ten of these people mean so much to me and I feel I would be cutting them purely for aesthetic sake. I fully understand in two years things can change and people can say no, but right now, that’s where my list stands. I am waiting another year to ask anyone (my wedding is two years away).
But back to my point (can you tell I’m still insecure about this decision?): The one thing I’m struggling to visualize is the ceremony. For those with large bridal parties, how did you have everyone stand? Did they stand in rows of two? Or did you arch them around?
My fiance and I are not going to have an even amount: I think he’s thinking six groomsmen. For what it’s worth, two of the people in my own party will be men.
