Hodgy527:  I’m (kinda) near Troegs, too. Have you been on the brewery tour? It’s excellent.

If I’m out to dinner and there’s just a generic beer list I’ll get New Castle or Yuengling or Guinness.

But I generally prefer stouts and porters. One of my favorites when you can find it, Anderson Valley  Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout.

I just got back from the grocery store and picked up a seasonal try try out, Leinenkugel’s Snowdrift Vanilla Porter.

dracarys:  Sours can be tough to find! They’re not on most typical beer menus. Luckily in our city there is a big beer scene and several places that specialize in rare beers, and a few breweries that make sours, so we’re able to try a lot of stuff. Cascade is another one that we really like, it’s out of Portland, OR. We have Cigar City here and they made a limited edition blackberry sour that was awesome too.

UisceAlainn:  love my Belgian Trappiste beers! Rochefort 8, Chimay Blue and Red

Also non-Trappiste Belgians like Leffe, La Chouffe etc.

Mikkeler is absolutely one of the best and they have amazing label designs.

As for domestic beers, Village Brewery is a great local one, Nelson Brewing Co.

Dieu de Ciel is amazing, as well as Le Trou de Diable, both of which are from Quebec.

  • Wedding: Either Philadelphia City Hall or a small chapel.

I’ve tried craft beers and even some of the different stuff put out by the big brewers than the usual, but, I will always keep coming back to Coors Light.

Refreshing, cheap, and reliable.

That being said, if I can find it and it’s not a fortune….Golden Monkey. I also really like coffee porters.

I’m drinking Not Your Fathers Average Root Beer right now!!!it’s decent,i like it. But my favorite beer would have to be Angry Orchard…the blue one….can you tell I’m not a beer person lol For other unbeer people, there’s a brand called Chrispin or Chrispen which is another Apple beer but it’s really good. I’m also a “shit, just give me a fourloko” kinda gal lol I want to like regular beer but it’s pretty gross lol

I love wheat beers. The more unfiltered the better!
