@cherriesandcream:  I love love love the ring with the halo. I think it would accent the colored stone sooooo nicely!!! Pretty choices! Lovely taste!

I voted braided!  I think it’s more unique and I’m not crazy about the halo trend in general – I would rather see one diamond (especially a blue one!) really shine.  I do, however, love the profile of the basket on the halo.  I wish you could combine them somehow!

I have a half carat solitaire, but we are getting a new setting for it soon and I am over the moon.  It’s absolutely my dream ring.  I hope it turns out half as beautiful as I am imagining it!  I am so excited.

    Here’s the new setting:

@cherriesandcream:  I really think it would simply enhance the stone!! The ring as a whole will look larger. either way–so pretty!

If you haven’t been in to try on different styles I would def do so! I always wanted an oval halo and hated how it looked on my hand! Now I’m getting a round double halo victorian style ring!!!

@cherriesandcream:  I don’t think a halo would make the center stone look smaller at all (unless it is lol). It should just make the ring look larger and enhance the stone as @oliviajuice said!

I love halos and I love the band as well as basket so much more on the halo ring you posted than the braided ring. That’s why I voted for the halo!

@cherriesandcream:  my ering choices were narrowed down to a blue diamond halo setting, or a three stone setting with sapphire side stones. I know my SO bought the latter ๐Ÿ˜‰ still love blue diamonds!!!
