Probably the makeup vanity he got me last year for Christmas, although I’m positive he was 80% motivated by not wanting my crap all over the bathroom anymore lol.

alfalfasprout10518 :  When my dad died several years ago I had some of his ashes made into a necklace, it somehow got lost but I still have my dads ashes as we spread some every couple years when we go back to his favorite beach. On our wedding day my husband surprised me, he’d had another necklace made for me. It was so sweet and thoughtful.

Tickets to see the New Orleans Saints play. It was so much better than any piece of jewelry or something he could have ever gotten me. It was something we could together. I’m a huge fan and had always wanted to go. I always like experience gifts more than tangible items. If there’s an item I want I usually buy it for myself, but experiences are definitely priceless.

Last year our tree gave out, so for my birthday (Dec 5) he let me pick out a new artificial tree which I love! Then for Xmas he got my 2 degrees framed, which meant a lot because I worked hard for them and sitting in a cardboard box was not doing them justice.

alfalfasprout10518 :  Half Shell Oyster House is my favorite for seafood. Murky Waters is good for BBQ. Salute’s for Italian. The Chimneys for fine dining. I don’t really consider Gulfport super touristy. Most tourists end up at the casinos.
