My dress was $1200.00 but they offered me a discount as my appointment was disrupted by another Bride. I didn’t complain or anything but they insisted that I should receive a discount. I got $200 off my dress so it came to $1000.00 CAD + gst. My Nana also surprised me by paying for it 🙂 I won’t be doing a veil and didn’t need a belt and have yet to do alterations since my dress hasn’t come in yet. Patiently waiting… lol

Haven’t bought my dress yet, but I’ve been looking. I refuse to look at anything over my budget of $1k, so I am almost positive I will spend under $1k.

wedbee0904:  The first time I got married: about $500. This time (we eloped) and I paid about $60 for a cute little white cotton sundress. 🙂

It was $1700 for my Allure, plus $200 for my veil and around $350 in alterations (oh hey, 9 point bustle!)  I didn’t find out about preowned sites until well after the dress was purchased, but I think it was worth every penny!

I have the Grazia from BHLDN. $460 including tax. I don’t know how much alterations will cost yet, though.

Peaceoutboyscout:  I like your dress! It looks very airy and flowy. Could easily be dressed up or down with accessories!

Had a $3000 budget, was thinking I wanted a lace filled or sparkly Maggie Sottero dress, but the dress I fell in love with was a rather plain Stella York. My entourage started crying when I came around the corner from the fitting room. They say I walked with a bounce in my step unseen with the other dresses. I fell in love with the small details. I wore this dress, it didn’t wear me. It was included in the 10% off sale the store was having so the $1000 dress was $900.
