I’d always suspect they would be blue. Blue is a virginal color (After the Virgin Mary’s shawl, I believe) so I would assume they would be some sort of shade of blue.

RED – theres something about a rich vibrant red that calls me!

Normally I would pick something like Dark Teal or Cobalt blue but for a wedding dress i’d go with the statement making red!

Purple! Pretty much any shade works for me ๐Ÿ™‚ I saw a purple wedding dress at a bridal expo last year, and actually fell in love with a dress (never thought that’d happen for me!). But my Future Mother-In-Law would have had a fit – she’s gonna struggle enough with what I’m wearing anyway!

Red, grey or paler shades of blue. It’s strange, I never wear light blue on a day-to-day basis but something about it feels so bridal to me, and I’m always drawn to blue dresses.

Some of my favourites. I would love to do something like Fan Bing Bing’s embroidered crane dress as tribute to my heritage. The Vera Harlow has always been one of my favourite non-white dresses, I love the moodiness and romanticism of the grey tulle and blush ribbons. And the last one is a dreamy, frothy de la Renta tulle concoction!

Well since I am wearing a dark blue and a red dress for my real wedding, for my hypothetical wedding in a world where wedding dresses are all colours I’d probably wear white, you know!

No actually I would still choose the colours I have. But maybe I would be a bit more decisive!

Honestly, I’d be stuck if I weren’t expected to wear white. I might go for any shade of blue or purple, a rich teal, or maybe even yellow. It’s most likely that I’d end up wearing something multicolored.
