Evelyn,  Zackery and my nephew, due early in the new year, will be named Jack 🙂  Hilariously, these are my closer family members and the last three that were born.  If I had to answer this post a few years ago I’d have: Dragon (b), Bryaer (b), Karson (b), Meadow (g), Ellie (g), Ember (g), Stirling (b), Lucas (b), Olive (g), and Prayton (g).  And no, I’m not kidding for the weird last one.  It just happens that my family named their kids something classic and they were the last three haha.

newbabybee:  I disagree. I belonged to a very multicultural school and a lot of the students names weren’t English and the administration/teachers had no issues. For grad, they approached any students with hard to pronounce names to get it written out phonetically so it wouldn’t be mispronounced.

It’s possible that Rylee may get her name spelled “Riley” now and then, but the same thing happens with traditional names as well (ex. Meghan, Megan, Kevin, Kevan, Jordan, Jorden, Jordin, Jordyn, Lindsay, Lindsey, Graham, Graeme, etc. etc.)

Anyway, I’m not really a fan of the unique spellings either, but I don’t think it’s going to cause as many issues as people think.

Names in my circle:

Jack, Ella, Charlotte (Charlie)
