Ugh, off the top of my head: Sweet Home Alabama is at the top of the list, that movie is SO STUPID! The Blair Witch Project, The Wedding Planner (that actually might be worse then Sweet Home Alabama,) and all of the entire “Scary Movie” series.

@Nostawyn:  I disagree with like 90% of what you just said but DEAR GOD The Last Airbender is an atrocity and M. Night Shyamalan should be put on trial for that shit.

Last House on the Left. I couldn’t get through the rape scene, I turned it off and haven’t been able to get it out of my mind since :/

Rubber. It’s a movie about a telekinetic tire that blows people up with its brain.

Apparently everyone disagrees with me but I hated Movie 43. I didn’t think it was funny or cute and as soon as it was over I just looked at my husband and said “DaFUQ did you just make me watch?”

– Cloud Atlas. WORST MOVIE EVER. DH rented it because everyone said it was good. No, just no. Not only is it confusing and long and boring, its so utterly bizarre I still don’t know what it was about – and I watched the WHOLE DAMN THING.

– Seven Psychopaths – you may be tempted to watch it because the trailer looked kind of funny, but don’t.  it’s terrible. so bad. so bad.

– Running with Scissors – oddest movie I’ve ever watched.  If you have the chance to see it, don’t.

– Burn before Reading – no words

– Don Jon – DH and I thought it could be good since (once again) everyone said it was but it was terrible! And to top it off, DH can’t see Julianna whats-her-face with the red hair without being all grossed out.

Never watched the Human Centipede but DH told me, in detail, about it. Sounds terribly gross and weird and I WONT be watching that – ever.

@Miss Fish:  Oh god, Movie 43 was sucktacular! And it’s cool if you disagree with me. 🙂 To each their own. As long as you also hate The Last Airbender we can be friends.

@cooperlove:  Burn After Reading was soooo bad that I’d forgotten I’d watched it. I didn’t make it all the way through Seven Psycopaths.

I second Rubber. I made it through the whole movie, but it was just… awful. I regret wasting time on it.

I feel almost the same with Thankskilling, a movie about a killer turkey who murders people on Thanksgiving. Sure, its a parody, and I like stupid humor so the beginning was pretty funny; but the rest of the movie was bad. I don’t think I can say I regret seeing it because I did get some laughs, but overall? It added nothing of value to my life.

Another one I regret watching (which I’m surprised no one has mentioned) was Sharknado. My SO and I watched the entire thing and felt like we really did WASTE two hours of our existence. Regret that one, for sure.

A French movie called Martyrs. So very disturbing. I felt like I needed brain bleach.

I hated I Spit on Your Grave. The violation went on too long and was so lovingly detailed, the main characters revenge did not make up for that.

This is the End, Last House on the Left, and Cloud Atlas. We didn’t finish these movies, but I regret watching any part of them. This is the End was just STUPID and wasn’t funny at all. Last House on the Left was too disturbing – we took it out after a few minutes. Cloud Atlas tried too hard to be deep and profound – I HATED it with a passion.

@MissSweetiepie:  Sinister is one of two scary movies that has caused me to have nightmares as an adult. I was soooo freaked out by that movie!

@dayl20:  ugh yes it was awful! I’ve seriously never seen anything sooo evil. It gave me nightmares too and I thought about it for atleast 6 months after watching it! That is probably the #1 movie I wish I have never watched!

@Miss Circe:  I just seriously hate sinister! Lol it did keep you interested/watching but still how can someone make a movie so evil?! It just freaks me out thinking about it!

i didn’t know even worse stuff happened to her than what was shown in the movie 🙁 what happened to her in the movie was so horrible I can’t even imagine.

@MissSweetiepie:  Oh it was very disturbing – there’s no doubt about that, and the concept is beyond what people would normally ever think about. But the Mr. Boogie figure was supposed to be based a pagan Babylonian figure so maybe the folklore/mythology about him could explain all the evil things depicted? I think the only movies I’ve ever had nightmares about were Child’s Play III (I was 5 and dreamt that Chucky was about to stab me in bed) and The Exorcism of Emily Rose (I kept waking up at 3am after seeing that… not cool!!)

Yeah it was pretty horrific. I think that because I knew that it really happened made it worse for me. Like movies such as Sinister is about an imagined evil, whereas The Girl Next Door is about real evil that peopleinflict on each other for no good reason.

Back to the thread topic, I will echo that Chernobyl Diaries and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull were crap, and add Wrath of the Titans and Immortals were also absolute crap – but I study Greek mythology so I am biased.

I did enjoy Seven Psychopaths though. Colin Farrell with an Irish accent mmmm

@iarebridezilla:  I hired this movie called ‘Savage Grace’. Julianne Moore was in it, her character marries above her class and is about her struggles and a tragedy etc. It was really odd, but I persisted. I had to turn it off when her son saw her in bed with the guy he’d slept with earlier, and he climbed into bed with them….what the hell? It was probably only 30 minutes away from finishing, but that scene just lost me. No idea what the tragedy was (maybe the movie itself?!) and I don’t care to find out either!

Lol, I totally regret reading this thread and googling all the movies mentioned. Now I’m frantically trying to find kitten pictures or something to wash out my brain!
