Thank you all so much for the kind words!!! I really love it, but my wedding isn’t until June 2018 so I am a little hesitant to pull the trigger when I still have so much time (and because I was hoping to not spend that much).

Blue, baby. Although if this were a Victorian wedding it would be perfectly accetable.

Not sure how untraditional this is but it was the first non white non ivory dress I tried on and fell in love!! It is rose gold underneath and the lace is diamond white. Love the geometric lace as well.

Holly77 :  thanks! I was really unsure about that colour on me, but everyone has said so many nice things about it!

They were both ordered online from asos, so already paid for. I was planning on returning one, but now I think I’ll keep them both. One advantage of going non-traditional is that they are much cheaper so I can afford to have both if I want!

I am all over this! I 100% knew I wanted nontraditional, non white and was pretty sure early on I wanted floral. This is a Mori Lee Prom dress. I am debating if I may add a sash to match my Bridesmaid or Best Man (not that actual one, that’s just an old flower girl one I was using to get an idea of it)

Had mine custom made from a 1960s evening dress pattern –
