I’m somewhere in between free and pads. I almost never have any period to speak of. In a bad month it’s like a day. Tampons always seem like a huge hassle when a pantyliner will do the job.

Tampons for sure, I HATE pads and haven’t worn one in.. I can’t even remember. Over 10 years for sure.

Never lost one or heard of a friend who has, by the way your insides don’t just go on forever so I don’t think it would be that much of a crisis if the string broke or something.

I remember the first time I tried a tampon I immediately called my best friend and was like “holy crap you have to try this, itll change your life” she did and thanked me for it.

@mink:  My mom had an issue with one at an amusement park one year a long time ago (I was like 15) – I guess the water slides or whatever pushed the string inside and yeah, no more details, but she had to go to the ER and have it removed. Not her favorite vacation. So yeah, I have heard stories.

I don’t like tampons at all, but I’ll wear them. I only have 2 heavy days so the 2 heavy days are for tampons and then I wear a medium panty liner. Tampons used to hurt me prior to being diagnosed with PCOS and Endo, but since I’ve had the Endo removed and the cysts taken care of they don’t suck as much.

Lol.. I love pads.. I dont know why..! I always have! Its not that tampons are uncomfortable or anything, its just pads are much more comfy and I feel more secure knowing that its downthere.. I kind of like the “””diaper””” feeling. (dont make fun!)

no clue what my problem is.

Ive been curious about the diva cup though!

Diva Cup all the way! I could not go back to pads or tampons, they feel so dirty compared to Diva cup oddly enough. I know that lots of women get grossed out by the idea of it but to me it’s super easy and convenient.

I cannot stand pads! I’ve always felt like I’m wearing a diaper. So I’ve used tampons pretty much exclusively since I was 13. Although I just ordered a diva cup! I’ve been wanting to get one for awhile, so maybe I’ll switch over to that.

Pads, unless I need to go swimming or something. The whole experience is enough of an inconvenience without having to fish around for strings, get the angle right, just have something up there constantly, etc!

Urgh, I hate pads. Since the moment I could wear tampons (when I lost my V-card, and that was the ONLY thing he was good for to be honest LOL) I have considered them a miracle. So easy and discrete! And just all around wonderful! Have not had a SINGLE problem with them. Whereas with pads, they felt mega bulky, yukky, and just dirty.

I can’t use the non-applicator ones though, have to be applicator tampons. And I just say tampons, no nicknames nothing lol

Tampons and panty liner. I found a brand of pantyliner I LOVE (weird I know, but they are awesome). They are the Kotex ones in a bright package. super stick and the edge is almost clear so it isn’t super obvious when you are changing that you have one on.
