Where did you have it? House, Restaurant, Venue (i.e. country club, mansion, etc.), or other?

Restaurant

What kind of food or drinks did you have?

We also had a brunch buffet. The french toast and mimosas were a big hit!

What were your favors?

Chocolate pops and everyone got to take home a mason jar with sunflowers in it.

Around how many guests did you have?

Around 50.

Who hosted?

My aunt.

Did you play any games? If so, which ones?

First game, everyone got an envelope. Inside one of them was a photo of my fiance. The others included photos cut out from random magazines. The person who had the photo won a prize. I wasn’t super excited for this game but it was actually very funny! Second, was trivia about me. One of my childhood friends created the trivia questions, it was a lot of fun!

What was your favorite gift?

Kitchenaid stand mixer – I use it alllllllll the time!

If you could change anything, what would you change?

I would have done my makeup myself. I had my wedding makeup trial the same day as my shower and it came out SO BAD. I didn’t have enough time to completely fix it so I was super self conscious the whole day.

AnonBee2019 :  I hope you have a lovely shower!

Where did you have it? House, Restaurant, Venue (i.e. country club, mansion, etc.), or other?

A restaurant.

What kind of food or drinks did you have? It was a lunch menu where everyone could choose from quite a few options – sandwiches and soups, salads, fish, chicken, etc.. We didn’t have any special drinks, everyone ordered what they wanted.

What were your favors? Bath and Body Works lotions and hand sanitizers

Around how many guests did you have? Approximately 20

Who hosted? My Mother-In-Law and SIL insisted on throwing us a shower after our wedding. Long story short, we got married over a year earlier than we had planned to after having the opportunity to get married on TV with everything paid for. It happened so quickly that there really wasn’t time to pull together a bridal shower beforehand. We were very grateful to receive on after the fact, as it was nice to upgrade some things around the house.

Did you play any games? If so, which ones? No games and I did not miss them!

What was your favorite gift? I registered for a polka dot Kate Spade tea pot and didn’t think anyone was going to get it for us, but one of my husband’s aunts did! I just love it and make tea almost daily. So that and our Lenox dishes.

If you could change anything, what would you change? I didn’t love the venue and would have had it in my city so that more of my family could have been there, but it was such a big gesture to throw us a shower, so I never would have suggested they change the location.

Where did you have it? House, Restaurant, Venue (i.e. country club, mansion, etc.), or other?

Country Club. Interesting thing about it was that it was the country club my now husband and I went to Junior Prom together

What kind of food or drinks did you have?

Brunch food – waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, pastries, etc. Most people drank Mimosas and water

What were your favors?

My Sister in Law made beach theme little baggies with soaps and bath salts

Around how many guests did you have?

23 showed up, more were invited though

Who hosted?

My mom was the main host and my Maid of Honor and bridesmaids helped

Did you play any games? If so, which ones?

Bingo while I opened gifts (people filled in the bingo cards with what they thought I’d get) and the toliet paper wedding dress game

What was your favorite gift?

I don’t really have a favorite. We already lived together so we made a small registery of things we really needed and then got mostly cash. I use everything I received!

If you could change anything, what would you change?

I REALLY wanted a game where they interview my fiance and I have to guess the answers he said or one of those Bride or Groom? games. So I wish I would have mentioned that and had someone plan that

Where did you have it? House, Restaurant, Venue (i.e. country club, mansion, etc.), or other? Country Club

What kind of food or drinks did you have? We had brunch. I’m keto so we did egg cassarole, bacon, sausage and then fruit, cinnamon bread and mini waffles for everyone else! We had 3 types of mimosas (oj, cranberry and mango), coffee, tea and any of the juices without alcohol as well for little cousins and pregnant friends!

What were your favors? There were a lot, everything from wine glasses, to bath and body works items to little succulents! They were all wrapped up so you didn’t know until you opened them.

Around how many guests did you have? About 27

Who hosted? My Aunts

Did you play any games? If so, which ones? My mom bought scratch off tickets that had cute little sayings on them, and one of the sayings were a winner. And then we played a card game. We passed out a deck of cards, everyone got 2 and when your card was drawn you picked your gift from the gift table. Once all the gifts were gone you could steal from other people! It was fun! Some people ended up with 2 gifts and some people just got one!

What was your favorite gift? A tie between the Kitchen Aid stand mixer and this amazingly soft blanket!

If you could change anything, what would you change? Nothing it was a blast! And I got to show my friends my hometown when I was done!

We also did a hidden mickey game which surprisingly ended up going over really well.  (i had a *slight* disney theme, it was very small details)

What was your favorite gift? a BEAUTIFUL towel cake that my sister in law and mom made. I got some great gifts but it didnt even look like towels! I had it up in my house for 9 months lol

If you could change anything, what would you change? Due to family flying in, i had to do it 1 week before the wedding. I would have had it much earlier – it made for a crazy wedding week!
