If I’m not paying attention, or typing my last name really fast I sometimes come up with mcdibble. I even turned in a paper once that was FirstName McDibble. My professor knew who it was luckily, but called me out on in and I kind of adopted it as my alter-ego.

In a few months I’ll have to change it to iamnolongermcdibble.

“Torrid” is the name of a work that I wrote that won a poetry contest when I was in high school. It was published in a literary magazine overseas, and it was my first publication. I’m very proud of it. ๐Ÿ™‚

My first name is Isabelle and when I marry Fiance, my last name will start with J… and 18 has always been my lucky number!

Not the most original username out there, but hey, I can always remember it due to its simplicity, which sure beats my usual MO of joining a website and then immediately forgetting my username/password!

When I was a little girl, we used to live with my grandparents. At night during the summers, I would “race” with my grandpa in the backyard. He’d yell, “One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to Go!” and I’d run up and down the backyard as fast as I could. We have this on video, and it always makes me happy to watch.

I have been inspired by Fitspo for awhile, being as fabulous as possible in my 30’s is part of the inspiration behind my name.

In highschool I decided I hated how people always mispronounce my name and decided to go by a shortened version – Elle, and between highschool, evening classes, late evening/night job and late night/ early morning homework completion I didn’t sleep much but was always full of energy so people joked that i must be a robot – hence Ellebot

I am a natural brunette, but at one point a couple years ago decided to go blonde. It looked great. Well I ended up going down the hippy route for a bit and pink and green seemed to be the main colors of my clothes (since they highlighted my hazel eyes). So I went so far as to put small “peek a boos” in my hair of pink and green. They stylist did a fantastic job, I loved it. Too bad I had to change it when I got my current job. Anyways, so the mix of pink and green in my hair with the yellow (blonde) hair became my new favorite color combo. I called it Pinksta (Instead of rasta which their colors are red green and yellow.

When we started talking wedding colors we both instantly agreed to go the “pinksta” route. So here we are with my sn

Live in Ottawa ๐Ÿ™‚ hence the “capital”. Cut to an embarassing moment for an English lit major: couldn’t remember if it should be capital or capitol.

I love this thread.

But I’m feeling shy about sharing my user name story. Does that make me a bad person?
