SO and I are long-distance, so even after almost two years of dating, I always get butterflies when we see each other! We’re so compatible with our sense of humor and mutual nerdiness, and he is genuinely such a sweet, happy person.

A couple of more concrete examples: We say “I love you” all the time, but sometimes he’ll deliberately say, “I love you more than anything.” I melt every time. We also take turns cooking for each other, so it still boggles my mind that 1) he will happily do everything to cook for dinner while I flop on the couch and watch Netflix, and 2) he enjoys cooking and really wants me to enjoy the food. I have told him how much I appreciate it because I grew up in a household where my mom does all the cooking, and while I enjoy cooking, some days I want a break!

Love him so much!

That’s a tough one…everything he does tends to give me butterflies…lol I think the big one though is likw what you said…when he tells me how much he really loves me.

We were friends and busuness partners almost two years before we started dating. We got engaged 9 months after our first date. My fiance alwats swore he would never get married. In fact he told me right off of the bat that he was a commitmentphobe…nad being that he’s 62 and never married, I don’t doubt it. I’m still amazed that he asked me to marry him!

I’m lactose intolerant but have a serious ice cream addiction. Fiance always stops me before I dive into a tub of Ben & jerrys to make sure I take my lactaid. He always does things like that to go out of his way to make sure I’m taken care of and won’t get sick. Also, every single night since we’ve been dating he’s sent me a “goodnight I love you” text for me to wake up to in the morning. It’s the little things 🙂

The way my fiancé looks at me gives me butterflies. Sometimes I’ll be chatting away and I turn to catch him gazing at me with the sweetest, most adoring eyes and smile on his face. He makes me blush.

Dreaming42:  Sometimes I’ll just be doing something random and catch him staring at me.  Then he hold’s up an imaginary camera and goes “click” because it’s a moment he wants to remember forever. I melt.

This morning I couldn’t fall back asleep after waking up too early, so I went on the couch in the living room. After sleeping for a few more hours, I woke up and went back into the bedroom. SO woke up when I came in, held open the blanket, and invited me to cuddle while saying he missed me. He’s often grumpy in the morning, so it always makes me smile when he wakes up in a good mood and all he wants to do is cuddle with me.
