What unusual or uncommon songs did you use for your ceremony music or plan to use?
My wedding is exactly a month out. I was planning on using “Over the Hills and Far Away” by Led Zeppelin for the wedding party to walk in to (still undecided on that one, but leaning toward it) and “America” by Simon and Garfunkel for me.
I’d love to hear what you had/plan to have play!

I’m planning on walking down the aisle to “New Year’s Day” by Taylor Swift. I also have an unusual song in mind for our first dance but I cannot remember it for the life of me.

My hubby and I had some fun with our ceremony music! We had our parents walk in to a piano version of a song from Legend of Zelda, and the bridesmaids came in to a string quartet version of Glycerine by Bush (one of my husband’s favorite songs!)
I walked down the aisle to the theme from Beauty and the Beast (maybe a cliché choice by some standards, but as someone with a beauty and the beast tattoo and rose engagement ring, I HAD to! Lol) and our recessional song was Starlight by Muse (my favorite band!)

I walked down the aisle to the theme from Final Fantasy X, and our exit music and the music for while we were signing everything was from the Blade Runner score.

We are only allowed live acoustic music for our ceremony due to the venue it’s in, so I am going to ask my brother to play something on piano. Currently we think it will be either something by one of our favourite bands (Foo Fighters, Green Day or Fall Out Boy) or possibly something from a musical, possibly Only Us from Dear Evan Hansen.

Love these!
I also forgot to mention, we’re walking into the reception to Ecstasy of Gold from The Good the Bad and the Ugly, only the version by Metallica. Our wedding is at a western ranch, and we both like Metallica, so it seemed fitting. 😉
