KitSnicket:  I’d go for pound cake with white chocolate mousse or hummingird cake with caramel.

caligirl0011:   Our entire cake was gluten-free and was three tiers. It held up perfectly. I think it depends on the recipe and how experienced the baker is with gluten-free baking.

KitSnicket:  I did chocolate with white chocolate mousse, and it was amazing!

chocolate chip cookie dough and cookies & cream also sound like they could be wonderful.

Well if the cake was just for me and not my guest I will go with chocolate cake with caramel filling. It’s my favorite but for my guest I would choose Strawberry with cream cheese icing.

For my cake we are having a 3 tier cake that is French vanilla with Cherry filling, Strawberry filling, and Blueberry filling.

If I were you I would stay away from nuts because that is a very common allergy. I would also stay away from conconut because not a lot of people like it.

White and raspberry is my favorite

coconut and one of the fruit fillings- lemon, grand marnier, key lime

almond with chocolate mocha or grand marnier

strawberry with lemon curd

chocolate with white chocolate mousse

I’d probably stay away from nuts and some of the things like cookies and cream or chocolate chip cookie are a bit too kids bday party for me even though I think they taste good!  I am also usually not impressed with red velvet cakes.

Chocolate with chocolate mousse, red velvet with buttercream, or chocolate with chocolate chip cookie dough. YUM!

We had chocolate with cookies and cream filling and people loved it 🙂 Though we also had yellow cake with buttercream just in case.

Almond cake with raspberry buttercream filling. Almond with raspberry is soooo good plus its very spring/summer and I see you have a May wedding 😉
