Garlic bow tie salad:

cooked and cooled bow tie pasta

fresh minced garlic

capers (drained)

dried parsley flakes

shredded Parmesan cheese

for the dressing- olive oil and mayo- mix until well blended, a creamy consistency; add more of either to get it there.

I don’t have exact measurements just because the amount I make varies greatly. You could also add chicken too, I don’t add it typically but it is good! This salad is a big hit at BBQs.

I’m a terrible cook, so my go-to is cream cheese fruit dip, with fruit of course.

Chili! (As long as there’s a hookup for a crock pot!)

Chili is a summer thing in my part of Wisconsin for whatever reason.

Maple rice krispy treats! Mostly because it makes a huge batch so I only make them for big parties and everyone loves them. Snickerdoodles or chocolate chip cookies, sometimes cupcakes. If it’s a place where I can cook I will make wontons or cheese puffs.

I always bring lumpia (Filipino spring rolls). Easy to make and always a hit.
