Kitchen-Aid Stand Mixer. Don’t get me wrong, I really like having it, but it’s not so different from any other stand mixer. I’m assuming that newer mixers have different attachments like Kitchen Aids. I’m sure we could have gotten away with a cheaper one!

Well my sister bought a shake weight when that was all the rage, lol. Definitely did not work but it certainly was entertaining! I’d say our rice cooker was overpriced and underwhelming despite having great reviews. The most underrated thing we’ve purchased was a garment steamer. Can’t imagine life without one now! Fun thread!

I had an ipsy subscription that I was so excited about because everyone kept telling me what cool stuff they were getting. Well, I only ever got like 2 name brand products and a few others that I liked, everything else was junk that didn’t match my profile or didn’t look right on me. Like I told them I wanted natural looking stuff, and no lip products, but every month I got a bright red lipstick! So I cancelled my subscription

My job is selling carpet, and we have been told by many a carpet mill that Dyson’s kill carpet lifespans. Some warranties even are voided by dyson vacuums. I guess they are just too aggressive and they can prematurely begin to fray and unravel the twists in the fibers. A lot of the time this is actually because people aren’t using the correct setting on their vacuums. So it’s not incredibly common but it’s not unheard of.

Ok, expensive wine and expensive Shoes!  Turns out I love the cheap wine so much better and the high priced shoes were always a let down to the mid range shoes like sofft and born

Kong Dog products

I bought a dog bed that they advertised as indestructible. Well, my dog was able to chew it apart. I called them, and they got really pissy with me and how it was my fault.

A north face rain jacket, the totes brand one was way better!

expensive brand nail polish that wasn’t any better than the 2.99 one

there’s probably more but that’s what came to mind immediately lol

eta:thats not uncommon to hear about the dyson and wondering if anyone will put up the vitamix, cause I really wanted one but not willing to spend the money right this moment

Gtech air ram cordless Hoover. Expensive and I thought it would be great but it’s just not. I wish I’d bought a cheap one its just very underwhelming! Also my steam mop it was an arm and a leg with great reviews and it’s rubbish I use a normal mop or a scrubbing brush more!

A veggie spiralizer. I thought I’d use it every single day and not be able to live without it. Turns out it’s such a hassle (I have negative patience for cooking) and even though eating spiraly zucchini is funner than regular zucchini, it’s not THAT much funner.

musicluvr325:  the only decent Kong product I’ve had is the black Kong. I bought my dog one of the rubber sticks and he chomped through it in one bite!! I emailed them and they got really pissy with me as well. Customer service isn’t great!

The beauty blender is awful! I’d rather use my Urban Decay good karma foundation brush instead of a wet sponge yuck.

(And it broke after using it three times. I am apparently too strong for all that chic stuff. )
