Dogmummy:  Ugh! Glad I will never buy their products again. No need to be rude to  the people buying your product!

gingerkitten:  I love my kitchen aid mixer but ANY attachment I have for it is totally not worth it. I dont even use them anymore because by the time I get the stupid thing out of the box and on it, I probably could have just done it manually. I got a pasta roller and made my own pasta twice…never have done it since LOL

My BFF just registered for 100 kitchen aid attachments and she cooks way less than I do, I just want to scream you wont ever use these!!!! ahah but i dont she will find out the hard way like the rest of us haha

I just tried a super hyped up bootcamp in my area and i was expecting to not be able to walk after and while it was tough it really wasnt that hard..so kind of a let down!

cmsgirl:  great thread idea.

  • Gel/shellac nail polish— My home manis on my natural nails look better imo, and the gel polishit ruined my natural nails, and didn’t last long enough to make the $ worth it.
  • MyFitnessPal– I just wasn’t into it, because of how hard it is to input nutrition info for home cooking.
  • False lashes– I think they are really uncomfortable and don’t perform miracles that a few coats of a really good mascara can’t.
  • Sunday Riley’s Good Genes Serum– I want to love this, but it smells weird and makes my skin kind of hurt. Plus I haven’t seen any effects yet.

But if there’s one product that I think lives up to all the hype, it’s a Vitamix!

It was a while ago, but one of those “perfect pancake” pans. If your idea of a perfect pancake is batter that splatter all over your counter, burns on the edges, and will never ever come off of the pan, then it nailed it.

Boxerlover24:  Oh, I use a regular pasta roller rather than the attachment because I like to have control 😉

I’ve used the meat grinder attachment a few times, plus the cutter/shredder attachments, but mainly I just use the whisk and dough hook. I’m not usually cooking enough stuff to warrant getting out the attachments and having to clean them, but for making egg rolls (I do over 100 at a time because they take forever), the shredder attachment is a lifesaver! Maybe someday if we have a bigger family or host more get togethers, it’ll get more use, but with 2 of us it’s a little unnecessary most of the time.

ETA: I got the meat grinder attachment because Darling Husband is a hunter and I thought I’d make venison sausage. He has yet to get a deer since I bought it, lol. He probably will this year, though!

Juicers. My roommate and I bought one a few years ago when we were living together and used it once. Granted, the juice was awesome, but it was a lot of work, annoying to clean, and the juice only lasts like two days (I know it’s because it’s fresh, but it’s a lot of effort for something you can’t mass produce and store in the fridge!). It’s moved with Fiance and I twice and hasn’t come out of the box yet.

MrsAtlantis:  Is the vitamix that much better than the Magic Bullet? We’ve had the magic bullet for ages, and I love it! I think it’s time for me to sharpen the blades, though.

Nars blush in “orgasm”. I love nars foundation and while this blush is very nice it’s not ERMAGHERD amazing like everyone is making it seem. I’m preferring it over my old Mac stuff but it’s not life changing haha.

Oh eta

one of those hair curlers that sucks your hair in to curl it. Snarled my hair and the curls that did work were very 80’s. Huge waste of money. Would probably be great of your hair was no longer than shoulder length.

The quesalupa. It was SO gross. I love me some taco bell but the quesalupa was disgusting.

Haha so funny because my kitchen aid mixer and my ipsy subscription are two things in this world I don’t want to ever live without!  I’ve had my mixer for 14 years and my ipsy for 2 Years!

Id have to say anything IKEA.  Yes it’s fun to shop for but this stuff falls apart just trying to move it around the living room!  We bought a $250 dresser and tried to move it to another part of my daughters room and it was trashed.  $250 of rubble 🙁

Also toms shoes.  WTH!?!  Maybe I’m a snob but these things tore my feet apart!  I’ll stick with my converse!

It seemed like I was always reading about Sisley Supremya night cream and how wonderful it was. I looked it up and it was hellishly expensive, but I managed to find a small sampler of 5 for around $110.  I opened it up and was attacked by the smell. I loathe heavily perfumed face creams. But I sucked it up and put it on for a few nights….and my skin reacted by peeling heavily. Oh yes, it’s so wonderful if you want to look like a mummy losing its wrappings. So it now sits in the drawer.

I’m back to my non-scented Eucerin Q10, vaseline, retinol and tretinoin.
